Blackout Poetry

Blackout Poetry is a great way to celebrate National Poetry Month in April!  We set up a table with book pages, markers, and that’s all it took to get the kids creating.  The posters hanging from the table were made from samples I found online, but the designs in the window were all created by our incredibly talented students!

If anyone wants a copy of the sign, it is available as a Google Doc here.  Just print it out and black out the lines you want to hide!
